Join Undersea Expeditions on our lucky 13th LGBTQ+ scuba expedition to mind-blowing Palau, home of drift diving with reef hooks and the extraordinary hold-on-to-your mask Blue Corner. An exotic former U.S. Trust Territory rich in Micronesian culture and WWII history, Palau offers electrifying diving with magnificent walls and drop offs, huge sea fans, and lots of underwater action.

You'll dive all of our favorite sites from past trips: Blue Corner, Ulong Channel, Big Dropoff, Siaes Corner, Peleliu and lots more. Plus our charter is timed to the full moon snapper spawning! This expedition is suitable for strong intermediate to experienced divers who are comfortable diving in current and from a live boat. Call us to speak with an instructor about the skills you'll need to dive here safely.

See why Palau is considered one of the world's top diving destinations and why we keep going back!

Package includes:

  • Seven nights on board the M/Y Black Pearl in deluxe cabins, double occupancy
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, plus water and hot beverages (coffee & tea)
  • Five and a half days of diving: three to four dives each day
  • Free EANx/Nitrox for those certified to use it
  • Tanks, weights and weightbelts
  • Use of kayaks and SUP
  • Excursion to the famed "Jellyfish Lake" - bring sturdy footwear!
  • Airport transfers on day of embarkation and disembarkation
  • Palau Goods & Services Tax
Not included in Package:
Airfare, rental gear and/or instruction if required, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, satellite internet, gratuities, items of a personal nature, fuel surcharge (currently $160), port and marine park fees of $250 payable on board. Government fees subject to change.

Who should go:
Strong intermediate divers (at least 50 logged dives) and advanced divers are welcome on this expedition. Beginning divers will find strong currents, drift diving, and blue-water safety stops overly challenging.

Getting there:
Currently, air connections to Koror, Palau (ROR) are provided through United Airlines and China Airlines.

Due to the International Date Line, North Americans will need to begin travel no later than March 17, 2022 in order to arrive by 12:50 am on March 19. Diving begins on the morning of March 19. We're happy to recommend a hotel if you choose to arrive on May 18 prior to the 3 pm boarding time.

Well disembark at 8 am on Monday, March 25, so relax at a hotel or kayak among the stunning Rock Islands for a day before departing at 2:05 am on March 26.
Extra nights at local hotels are available after the liveaboard to extend your trip if you wish.

This Monday to Monday charter corresponds to the pre-pandemic schedule of Asiana Airlines, so we'll be hoping for their Seoul-Koror service to restart.
