Join Christine Simon of Seattle's LGBTQ+ Bottom Dwellers and Maureen McEvoy of the Northern California Rainbow Divers on an exciting expedition to Malapascua Island, Philippines to dive with thresher sharks!

Timed to dovetail with our Dumaguete LGBTQ+ scuba vacation, you'll fly into Cebu/Mactan Island (CEB) and transfer to tiny Malapascua Island, famous for exciting encounters with thresher sharks!

With three boat dives scheduled each day and lots of bottom time, it's easy to get your fill of nitrogen, so bring a dive computer and make sure you know how to use it. This excursion is best suited for Advanced Open Water divers or higher. You can earn AOW and/or EANx/Nitrox certification this week.

If you travel solo, standard rooms are just $1695 for single occupancy. It's easy to meet a dive buddy when you're traveling with friends!

Package Includes:

• Six nights at Tepanee Beach Resort (double occupancy)
• Five days of three boat dives daily, including an extended day trip to Gato Island
• Breakfast daily on the boat
• Welcome and farewell dinner
• Group transfer to Malapascua from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) on May 9
• Group transfer from Malapascua back to Cebu airport or on to Dumaguete

Not Included:
Airfare to Cebu, Philippines, rental equipment, meals not mentioned above, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, any special transfers if required, Nitrox if desired (recommended), tourist tax of PhP 110 (approx. US $2.50), tips, and items of a personal nature.

Getting there:
Please plan to arrive on Cebu by noon on April 4. Only daytime transfers can be made to Malapascua and it's a three to four hour van transfer to the port.

There are non-stop flights from the U.S. to Manila on Philippines Airlines and connecting service on many other airlines from North America and around the world to both Manila and Cebu. We're happy to recommend a hotel on Cebu if you arrive the evening before the trip begins.

Deposit:
A $500 deposit is due upon booking. Balance due 60 days prior to departure.

2. We'll place a space on 10-day courtesy hold for you and send you a confirmation e-mail.
3. Complete and return the trip application and waiver from the letter with your deposit by check or credit card.
4. Make your airline reservations and send us a copy.
