Here's an inexpensive, close getaway that packs as much scuba fun as possible into a long weekend!

San Salvador is easy to get to via Nassau, yet a world away from the casinos. We'll stay at the Riding Rock Resort & Marina.

You'll enjoy three dives a day for three days to maximize your time here. Explore the rest of the island on your last day, or play gay castaway on a deserted beach!

Getting there:
Fly to Nassau (NAS), and schedule your arrival before 9 am on 24 May. Unless you are arriving from Miami (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL), you will probably need to fly in the night before, on 23 May. Many of us will stay at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island, adjacent to the over-the-top Atlantis, where we enjoy full use of the waterslides and other facilities. Others with more classic tastes are opting for the British Colonial Hilton, the filming location of the James Bond movies Thunderball and Never Say Never Again. Either way, a short Nassau stay is a great addition to a Bahamas vacation!

Depart Nassau at 11 am on Bahamasair flight 377. Arrive San Salvador at 12 pm.

Tuesday, 29 May 2012
Depart San Salvador at 11:20 am on Bahamasair flight 377. Arrive Nassau at 1:05 pm.

To give yourself time for International check-in and to check bags, please plan to depart Nassau for home after 4 pm on Tuesday, 29 May.
